On life, blogging and that cup of cappuccino.
I'm back to blogging! Eons ago, I used to blog quite consistently and for several years on multilingualism and raising trilingual children. My blog was called "Jabberlingual" - a nod at Alice in Wonderland's Jabberwocky - one of my all-time favourite children's books.
Then life happened: three children, a querulous cat, a part-time job, a desire to push my fiction writing career forward - and something had to go. It was the blogging.
Honestly, I did not miss it.
But I did miss the community of bloggers, the friendships I created (some of which lasted til this very day), and the rather ego-centric chattering about one's life, in non-fiction style, which is so much more satisfying than curt tweets or facebook posts.
So here I am again, with a new blog! It will be about my writing, life, books, cats, kids and magic. Lots of it! Oh, and that cup of cappuccino which beckons me.
